At the foot of the Cape Beddouza cliffs, not far from Azalaï Beach Cottage, Azalaï has designed its Beach Camp on a huge wild beach. Set facing the ocean, this elegant bivouac is the absolute experience of the ocean, an invitation to dream cradled by the surf, an exceptional immersion in the heart of nature.

Our tents

This Beach Camp of four tents combines nature’s experience with great comfort. Our canvas tents provide a delicious feeling of cotton refuge from the vastness of the ocean. Fresh mint lemonade

Delicious and thirst quenching.
Squeeze the juice from a lemon and a lime. Bring some water to a boil and add the leftover lemon wedges. Leave the liquid to cool, then add the squeezed juice and sugar to taste. Stir and refrigerate. Add two mint leaves to serve.

Grilled prawn skewers

Flavours of the ocean
Shell the prawns, leaving the heads in place. Prepare a marinade by mixing lemon juice, olive oil, grated ginger, coriander and a clove of minced garlic together in a bowl. Season the marinated prawns with salt and pepper and thread onto skewers. Cook over the flame for 2 minutes on each side. Once cooked, squeeze some lemon juice over the prawns and serve hot.

« There is no man more complete than the one who travelled a lot, who changed the shape of his thoughts and his life twenty times »
Alphonse de Lamartine

A promise of the city’s culture and history, the region is certainly not lacking in treats for those who love fine food.

In addition to the fabulous seafood, including the sardines so beloved of King Mohammed V, the most exacting diners will also be able to enjoy Oualidia oysters, which are known by connoisseurs throughout the country for their succulence.
From here can also be seen the turquoise blue waters of the circular lagoon, 12 kilometres in length, the small green islands and the fine sandy dunes of ocean beaches. Oualidia is unrivalled when it comes to natural beauty.
The most adventurous of visitors will be seduced by what this beauty makes possible, experiencing the first joys of surfing on the lagoon, while more seasoned surfers will head off to enjoy tube riding at Tomato Beach in Ras Lafaa, 14 kilometres away.
